About Us
The Atlanta Guitar Trio brings a new and refreshing perspective to the world of ensemble music. Their repertoire provides a unique blend of virtuosity and diversity. The Trio incorporates instruments such as the lute, theorbo, and mandolin into their music, providing an exciting depth of color and instrumentation.
Their programs include transcriptions of medieval and renaissance music, Spanish and Flamenco styles, as well as compositions by modern day composers. The Atlanta Guitar Trio also plans to expand the repertoire for guitar ensemble with original arrangements of popular melodies and classical standards for guitar trio.
